Abodo utilizes Radiata Pine, which grows rapidly, and produces beautiful renewable timbers. Their products and coatings systems age with grace and natural beauty and their thermal treatment technology creates a very stable moisture content throughout the wood. In turn, Abodo thermally modified wood cladding experiences less grain lifting, warping and bending than non-thermally treated wood.

Architectural Series
Abodos’s premium cladding, ideal for architectural projects where a largely clear aesthetic is desired. This series includes a wider range of profiles, colours and finishes (including bandsawn and brushed).
Standard Series
Includes some knots and natural features, and is available in a select range of colours and profiles, at a more accessible price. Available in bandsawn finish only.
Colour Range
*Colour may change/fade as a part of the natural weathering process. Coating performance on brushed finish may be lower compared with bandsawn finish.

Vulcan® Charred Cladding
Inspired by the traditional Japanese timber preservation process of yakisugi or shou sugi ban, Vulcan Charred is a richly textured timber cladding with a unique and highly textured black aesthetic.
* Colour variation may occur due to variation in the natural substrate. The char finish is a sacrificial layer that is expected to flake and wear away slowly over time due to the mechanical action of wind and rain. This will result in change in colour and aesthetic. The speed of erosion will vary depending on exposure and regularity of maintenance coating.
