ABODO timber is family-owned and operated by the Gudsell family, who pride themselves on keeping a low environmental impact with future generations in mind. ABODO utilizes Radiata Pine, which grows rapidly, and produces beautiful renewable timbers. ABODO’S products and coatings systems age with grace and natural beauty and their thermal treatment technology creates a very stable moisture content throughout the wood. In turn, ABODO experiences less grain lifting, warping and bending than non-thermally treated wood. Although Radiata Pine is a soft wood, the thermal treatment process increases the hardness and density of the wood overall, providing incredible durability and overall stability of the wood. This incredible species can grow 4-8 feet per year in optimal conditions, giving us a naturally beautiful and sustainable product that is unparalleled in it’s ability to achieve style, function, and environmental mindfulness.

ABODO Built to Last Warranty – 15yrs
Limited warranty for Vulcan thermally modified timber supplied by ABODO
ABODO Wood warrants to the person who owns the building (the “Owner”) into which Vulcan (the “Product”) has been placed, that for 15 years from the date of supply the Product will resist fungal decay causing damage, so as to make the Product Structurally Unfit for the purpose for which it was first acquired and used, and subject to terms and conditions.
