ABODO’S products and coatings systems age with grace and natural beauty and their thermal treatment technology creates a very stable moisture content throughout the wood. In turn, ABODO experiences less grain lifting, warping and bending than non-thermally treated wood. Although Radiata Pine is a soft wood, the thermal treatment process increases the hardness and density of the wood overall, providing incredible durability and overall stability of the wood. This incredible species can grow 4-8 feet per year in optimal conditions, giving us a naturally beautiful and sustainable product that is unparalleled in it’s ability to achieve style, function, and environmental mindfulness.
