Located along the scenic Squamish waterfront, the Sea and Sky development by Bosa Properties and Kingswood Properties is a vibrant master-planned community that reflects both its coastal setting and adventurous spirit.
To bring the design vision to life, a curated palette of James Hardie fiber cement siding—factory-finished by Fisher with our TrueColour™ pre-finishing technology—was used across multiple phases and building types.

Fisher’s TrueColour™ finish was selected for its superior durability, colour fidelity, and weather resistance—ensuring that the look and feel of each façade would endure beautifully in the coastal climate. TrueColour™ was applied to a variety of James Hardie profiles, enabling designers to play with texture, depth, and contrast throughout the project.
A Dynamic Mix of Profiles
The architectural expression of Sea and Sky is defined by its thoughtful mix of cladding profiles:
- HardiePlank® Lap Siding in both smooth and cedar-mill textures adds traditional rhythm and depth.
- HardiePanel® Vertical Siding provides bold, clean lines for a modern aesthetic.
- HardieTrim® Boards combine with the vertical siding creates a classic board and batten style for a modern farmhouse aesthetic.
- Hardie® Artisan® Siding delivers a refined, flat surface appearance that enhances the clean, contemporary lines of the façade on the apartment buildings
Curated Colour Combinations
Fisher worked closely with the design team to deliver a multi-tone, curated colour program from the James Hardie Statement Collection® that added visual interest while aligning with the coast mountain modern style. The colour combinations included:
Arctic White + Iron Gray
The striking combination of Arctic White lap siding and Iron Grey panels and trim delivers a high-contrast, dramatic effect that enhances the building’s urban contemporary aesthetic.

Khaki White, Night Gray + Evening Blue

Countrylane Red + Deep Ocean
Bold Countrylane Red and Deep Ocean blue are layered across different townhome blocks to create distinctive building identities while maintaining visual harmony throughout the Sea And Sky development.

Each colour was custom-matched and factory-applied in a controlled environment to ensure consistency across thousands of square feet of material.
A Cohesive Coast Mountain Community, Connected by TrueColour™
To maintain visual harmony across the broader Sea And Sky development, the multi-family apartment buildings were carefully matched to the townhomes using TrueColour™ finishes on HardiePanel® and Hardie® Artisan® siding.
The Result: Multiple Applications, Unified Vision
TrueColour™ finishing was used on:
- Exterior wall cladding across multiple building typologies
- Architectural soffits and fascia trim for added protection and polish
- Balcony surrounds and entry features, where durability and colour longevity were key
